Release

Saturday, December 30th, 2006

30th of December already. Just one more day and few hours of 2006 are left to be enjoyed. And we are going to welcome the arrival of 2007, soon.

Didn’t work in this year-end holidays, nor study well with my books. Just sitting in front of my old PC, almost 10 hours per day. Don’t know how much of the radiation has been stored in my body. But this holiday still enable me to learn something special: "The power of release".

Never knew that ‘release’ is so important in life. After many years of pursuiting, suddenly felt that I had lost much more than I gained. Just the ‘unwillingness to release’ made me so, tired and lost. But this time, I tried to release. Release doesn’t mean relax, passive and unpowered, but to look at an incident from a positive point of view, and try not to pursuit so much, be satisfied.

Seems like a passive thinking? I think no. People says: "无债一身轻" really got its meaning. We can consider everything that we pursuit in life as debt. Once you set up your mind to pursuit something, eg. first 1M dollars, you have already make yourself in debt of your goal. You have to clear the debt by doing something that is worthy to pay the debt, eg. working hard without stopping. But ones can’t limit oneselves to have one goal, you will have just more than it. What should you pay? Unlimited!

But if you are satisfied, you won’t pursuit that much, and you will feel your life is merrier. The feeling is so undescribable. Just try to release whatever that isn’t so important. But remember, don’t release your life…

Transpose Equation

Tuesday, December 19th, 2006

A long time of study really worth something. We all know that the transpose of any matrix is a matrix which is "flip" through its major diagonal.

But what about transpose of a product of matrix? Lets say matrix AB, are we going to get the product first and get its transpose one by one? No, we use this formula : -

You can get the transpose of C by multiplying the transpose of B by the transpose of A.

However, this formula seems silly. You may ask "Isn’t it obtaining two transpose takes more work than one?". Yes, it is. But it make use when the question is quite complex, such as : -

You can, of course, find transpose of P and Q, inverse of P, R and later multiply it with the transpose of R. But isn’t this take a long time? But if you try this way : -

Isn’t it easier?

However I am just show this as I am too happy to discover an equation which is not in our text book (At least I have never seen it before…). For those who has already owned this knowledge and categorised it as a childplay, please ignore this entry, I am just writing for fun, haha!

Plain…

Saturday, December 16th, 2006

A plain life… A kind of life that the poor wants to escape from; the rich wants to avoid; however, the best life for those, who have already tired of the hustle and bustle of a city life, to pursuit.

But what kind of life can be considered "plain"? A poor life? A boring life without any climax? Or just any life, as long as you are enjoying it? How’s your "plain" is defined?

Never knew I will have this kind of thinking. As a person who has been blinded by success, a surprisingly high self-esteem has occupied all the space in my mind. Even I don’t know when this unpleasant force launched its attack on me. And I, as a defeated commander in this match, has lost the ability to accept defeat, and has been transformed into a pure perfectionist, never allow anything bad happen before, during and after any event. This type of personality is good in some ways, you can have the success in the way you want. But you can only look forward, no looking back is allowed. Once you do so, you will find that what you have lost is extremely greater than what have you gained. You will lose those, which are really important in your life…

Maybe it’s caused by the tiredness, the responsibility and the unstoppable pursuit. All of a sudden I am thinking of what’s the real definition of "success" and "defeat". Does "success" which is obtained by the pressure of a previous "success" bring happiness? Will a "defeat" which arrive after a previous "defeat" make ones gloomy? And what’s the effect of a "defeat", which comes after a series of "success"?

After a long time of thinking, I rather choose a "plain" life, which is defined by myself…

Deep thinking…

Tuesday, December 5th, 2006

Just finished watching Goong few days ago… Really a nice drama series, planning to watch for second time when I am free. Apart of the stirring of emotion (I even cry…), got some hints in solving my situation, and really made me to take some time to have a deep thinking. So no more hurts now, let everything goes with its own way. Ok, ready to play with my books again…
